Human-Centred Design, Storytelling and Systems Change

Kia ora! Ko Anna Jackson ahau.

I am an educator and mentor, a human-centred designer and researcher, a writer and creative producer. Creativity, collaboration, storytelling and systems change are the common threads that connect my work and interests.

Curiosity, a love of learning (and tendency to say yes) has led to my involvement in a very diverse range of endeavours over the course of my career, such as:

  • Teaching Design Thinking/Human Centred Design at AUT’s School of Art + Design.
  • Leading projects at social change agency Innovate Change.
  • Co-founding the documentary initiative Loading Docs.
  • Co-founding and co-directing Transmedia NZ
  • Writing for The Big Idea.
  • Acting as an advisor and ambassador for arts crowdfunding platform, Boosted.
  • Creating transmedia content and strategy
  • Teaching at Colab, the ‘collaboratory’ for Design and Creative Technologies at AUT.
